
Dalmiya asserted at a press conference at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata: “I will leave no stone unturned to clean up cricket. I was given a responsibility, and I thought I could not shy away,”
“I may or may not represent BCCI in the ICC meetings and if there is a vacancy in the BCCI, it will be filled up,” Dalmiya further added.
Meanwhile Jagmohan Dalmiya said that former BCCI secretary Sanjay Jagdale has reaffirmed his decision to not withdraw his resignation.
“We are waiting for former BCCI treasurer Mr. Ajay Shirke to respond,” Dalmiya said.
Dalmiya also had a word for the owners of IPL franchise stating that: “Owners will be held accountable if the players indulge in illegal activities in IPL,
He also made it clear that he is not a big fan of after match parties: “Banning after match parties could be one of the solutions to clean up the game.”
