BCCI has decided to ban cheergirls and post-match party of IPL

In an effort to clean up cricket and restore its credibility as a “gentleman’s sport,” Working Committee Board of Control for Cricket in India has decided to ban cheergirls and post-match party of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Members of the committee discussed possible measures to combat corruption in length, as part of its
“Operation clean up ‘- and came to the conclusion that cheergirls should be kept away from the sport and the players and members of staff should not attend nightly parties. He also wants a strict code of conduct for players, support staff and the owners of the franchise and decided to restrict the movement of the cricketers in the dugout and dressing room.

Other measures that are considered to be noise inside the stadium to block phone signals and ban players from using earplugs. “The owners will now be restricted from entering the dugout and dressing room during matches. Entire staff players beams franchises need to submit telephone numbers with the BCCI before the tournament,” interim board Preisdent Jagmohan Dalmiya said.
