Guptill blasts 189*, England to chase 360!!
Martin Guptill continued the form he showed at Lord's - making use of a reprieve handed to him on 13 - with an unbeaten 189. His 189* equals Sir Vivian Richards' score as the highest ever in England. Things went from bad to worse very quickly for the hosts. It was Guptill and Taylor who laid the platform at first before McCullum joined the former. The duo put on 118 in just 50 balls to take the Kiwis to a massive total. They have one hand already on the trophy.
He's made the highest score by a New Zealander in an ODI and the Kiwis have racked up the fifth-highest total in ODI history. England were run ragged in the field and pummelled in the last 10 overs. They will need the second-highest successful chase in ODI history to keep the series alive, good game to win then
